PROMOTING THE DISCOVERY OF JESUS, THROUGH SPORTS.
The Flatwoods Baptist Church Upward Ministry is an exciting sports-based ministry for boys and girls, 1st Grade through 8th grade, using basketball to promote salvation, character development, and self-esteem. Through weekly practices and games, each child is given the opportunity to grow athletically, spiritually, physically, and socially as he or she develops character and an understanding of sportsmanship while also learning the fundamentals of basketball.
Coaches and referees must be at least 18 years old and a professed Christian.
